VIVESCIA Group rallies to help healthcare staff: More than 18,000 articles of personal protective equipment donated

Tuesday 7 April 2020, 12:00

For several weeks now, the companies of the Group have been marshalling their resources to offset the shortage of personal protective equipment (PPE) for healthcare professionals, and to manage the health emergency in the Grand-Est and Île-de-France regions, which have been hit particularly hard by Covid-19, as well as in the rest of France, through its plants around the country.

All the companies that could – the VIVESCIA cooperative and its agricultural subsidiaries, Délifrance, Grands Moulins de Paris, Malteurop, Nealia, and Kalizea – have donated available PPEs to support healthcare services that were cruelly lacking or running out of stock, in particular masks.

In total, nearly 18,000 articles of protective equipment have been donated since the beginning of this pandemic to healthcare professionals (hospitals, self-employed nurses, doctors, medical centres, nursing homes, personal services associations, clinics, etc.).

VIVESCIA Group would like to thank all its employees for their collective effort, and to reiterate its solidarity and recognition for healthcare professionals, who are in the front line in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.
